The moon in the trees outside the cottage at 22:57 last night.
Yesterday, I discovered that the Nailsworth branch of the Cotswold Dogs and Cats Home shop is the place to be. As you’d expect, it’s a charity shop. It also happens to be the most-favoured one in town (there are several) – it’s full to the brim with funky donations and people. That can make inhaling a risk, but you just take a deep breath and dive right in. It’s well worth it. Who knew I needed sparkly flip-flops?
I spent a satisfying evening in my new footwear finery with the dogs. More proofreading (total word count since 1 July: 23,759) was followed by a lavender bath, and a bottle of Pecorino.
Under a moon 81% illuminated.
